Jay began working as a LMT 25 years ago. Early practice was medically based in the service of treating chronic pain syndromes and trauma related injuries. A life long martial arts enthusiast he has focused on Chinese internal systems: Tai Chi (Yang, Chen, Sun), Bagua, and Xingyi.  Out of this exploration he developed the Internal Dynamics techniques.

Jay also has a comparative literature degree focusing on the influence of religion on science fiction and fantasy literature. This broad study of religions and fictional genres formed an appreciation for how people’s individual stories guide them. At the heart of almost every story there is the question of power. Finding it, fighting for it, losing it, giving it, sacrificing for it.

The Internal Dynamic’s story: you have more power than you know, the only fight is not fighting, and there is no sacrifice, only undiscovered fortune.
