Thoughts on Space Travel

The only people we need to send into space are those who are willing to pay to go. Sure Astronauts, but whole ships full of people? Like thousands of people? Shit is expensive. How bout robots we virtually inhabit? Whole lot safer. Probably cheaper. You don't need a big ship to send AI out there snooping around, exploring the vast regions of space trying to wake up some cosmic chuthulu black-hole monster with mind warping and space folding capabilities that could twist and tweak the frail human psyche. Have you seen Event Horizon? Nope, no thank u. I like the idea of space travel as in I have a robot me (or rent a bot most likely) on each planet in the solar system and tag back and forth between them at leisure to experience the sun rise and sun set upon each celestial orb, and be forever caught in the breaking moment of day and night forever, Amen. Besides I don't do well with long naps. They make me groggy and I feel like I have wasted the day. I'm more of a short-nap guy.
